Spring Talks and Tours
Talks/programs are offered for different groups in the local area on Spring Bedding Plants, and Container Gardening. Evening and day times are available for the months of February and March. Please have your program coordinator call Holly at 636-946-7641 to set up a time and date.
Children's tours are offered during the months of February and March during the day. This is the best time to see what we actually do in our greenhouses. We talk about parts of plants, how to grow them, what they need to grow, etc. We read a book and sing a song at the end of the tour. Plants and pots are sent along with the teacher to plant back in the classroom and take home. Ages Pre-4 through 2nd Grade are best. If your group is older, please call and ask. We ask that groups be limited to 20 children for accessibility in the greenhouses. Most programs run 30 to 50 minutes depending on the age of the children.
